Training/Consultation/Speaking
In my 25 years as a trainer and speaker, I've worked with a wide variety of individuals and organizations both domestically and internationally. My audiences have included civil and military attorneys, advocates and judges, college and university students and administrators, civil and military law enforcement, mental health professionals, and community members.
I train on a number of topics, including: leadership, conflict management, the neurobiology of trauma/vicarious trauma, understanding seemingly counterintuitive victim behavior, how to be trauma informed, and group process. I customize every training to meet the needs of the participants, and to provide relevant, practical application of the material so participants know what to do with what they've learned.
Currently, I'm a guest faculty member for the United States Army's Special Victim Unit Investigation Course.
